Discernment Before Departure
Not every desire to leave is revelation, and not every discomfort is divine direction.

Discomfort can reveal a completed season, but it can also expose impatience, wounded pride, fear, or resistance to necessary growth. If every difficult environment becomes a sign to leave, character never remains anywhere long enough to be formed.
John commands believers to test spiritual claims. The same discipline belongs to personal direction. Does the turn agree with Scripture? Has wise counsel exposed blind spots? Is the emerging fruit peaceable and obedient, or merely relieving? Are you moving toward responsibility or escaping accountability?
A holy pivot can be decisive, but it is not impulsive. Give discernment room to interrogate desire. God is not threatened by careful testing performed beneath His Word. A tested direction may move more slowly at first, but it carries greater stability when the road becomes costly.
