The Assignment Changed—Your Calling Did Not
A changed expression of purpose does not mean the purpose itself has been revoked.

We often fuse calling and assignment so tightly that when one assignment ends, identity collapses with it. But calling is larger than a platform, position, location, or method. The assignment is the present vessel through which calling serves; the vessel may change while the divine purpose remains.
Barnabas and Saul were already serving when the Spirit set them apart for another work. Their previous faithfulness was not exposed as meaningless. It had prepared them. God did not discard their past; He redirected its formation toward a wider assignment.
When the assignment changes, ask what remains constant. The audience may shift, the title may disappear, and the method may become unfamiliar. Yet the gifts, burdens, wisdom, and testimony formed in you can be carried forward. Release the old expression without declaring the calling dead.
