The Grace to Leave What Once Fit
Some environments become restrictive not because they were always wrong, but because their season has ended.

What once fit can become too small without becoming evil. A role may have trained you, a relationship may have strengthened you, or a method may have served the assignment faithfully. Gratitude, however, does not require permanent residence. Seasons are gifts precisely because they have boundaries.
Many believers remain trapped by the fear that leaving dishonors what helped them. But a classroom is not dishonored when the student graduates. A scaffold is not rejected when the building can stand. Sacred memory should produce thanksgiving, not captivity.
Grace gives us permission to acknowledge completion without rewriting history as failure. Bless what was fruitful. Grieve what must end. Then refuse to shrink the next act of obedience so it can continue fitting inside a season God has already completed.
