When Obedience Looks Like Starting Over
Beginning again is not regression when God is the One who called you forward.

A new beginning can feel insulting after years of investment. You may lose familiarity, recognition, efficiency, and the confidence that comes from knowing the terrain. Yet obedience sometimes asks an experienced person to become a beginner again.
Abram’s departure did not erase his history. It repositioned everything he had learned beneath a new command. He traveled without a complete picture, but he did not travel empty. Experience became provision rather than prison.
Do not measure the new road only by what is missing. You are not the person who began the previous season. You carry discernment, scars, corrected assumptions, and tested faith. Humility allows you to learn again; wisdom keeps you from repeating what the former road already taught.
