Bishop W. F. Houston Jr., D.D., is a bishop, theologian, preacher, teacher, theological educator, and digital creator whose ministry has been shaped by one enduring conviction: truth should never be diluted simply to make it easier to consume.
His ministry work began in 1997. On February 3, 2008, he founded Christian House of Faith—C H O F Ministry™—in Cleveland, Ohio. The ministry was formally chartered in the State of Ohio on May 29, 2009. From its beginning, C H O F has been committed to biblical depth, spiritual formation, and the innovative communication of timeless truth.
Bishop Houston’s approach brings Scripture into thoughtful conversation with theology, philosophy, literature, and visual communication. He describes this framework as the Sugar-Free Gospel™: Pure Truth. No Filler. It rejects manipulation, intellectual shallowness, and spiritual noise in favor of clarity, conviction, and integrity.
Today, he serves as the architect of a growing digital ministry ecosystem. The C H O F Digital Campus is designed as more than a website—it is a permanent ministry home and revelation archive, preserving nearly three decades of teaching while creating new pathways for people to encounter truth across generations.
