Redeeming Attention
Technology is not permitted to disciple the soul by default. Attention becomes a sacred stewardship brought beneath spiritual government.
C H O FMINISTRY™
THE BISHOP W. F. HOUSTON JR. LEGACY COLLECTION™ · LC—001
A spiritually rigorous journey through attention, technology, discipleship, and formation—written for believers who refuse to let digital culture disciple them more deeply than truth.
WHY THIS BOOK EXISTS
The Digital Alchemist refuses the shallow choice between rejecting technology and surrendering to it. Its argument is more demanding: believers must learn to redeem attention, govern appetite, recover communion, and transform modern tools into vessels of faithful formation.
“This is not a book about abandoning devices. It is a book about redeeming attention.”— Bishop W. F. Houston Jr.
THE OFFICIAL BOOK PRESENTATION
The official film introduces the burden behind the book and carries its central call into the same digital territory the work seeks to redeem.

Technology is not permitted to disciple the soul by default. Attention becomes a sacred stewardship brought beneath spiritual government.
Digital connection cannot substitute for presence, vulnerability, stillness, and the soul-deep work of communion with God and people.
The Christian does not merely consume religious content. Truth must be contemplated, practiced, embodied, and allowed to produce formation.
The Church need not reject technology or be swallowed by it. The faithful third way is transformation under biblical authority.
THE CHAPTER JOURNEY
The book moves from diagnosis to discipline, exposing what digital culture forms in us before teaching believers how to reclaim authority over attention and witness.
