When the Door Closes Without Explanation
Faith must sometimes obey the closed door before understanding the reason behind it.

We prefer closed doors accompanied by explanations. If God would provide the reason, we imagine surrender would be easier. Yet explanations can become another form of control. We do not merely want direction; we want enough information to judge whether God’s direction deserves our agreement.
Revelation presents Christ as the One whose authority governs opening and closing. The shut door is not proof that every desire was wrong. It may be protection, timing, preparation, or mercy. Faith does not need to invent a reason in order to respect Christ’s authority.
Do not keep injuring your spirit by standing at a door whose closure has become clear. Release the demand to understand everything immediately. Some explanations arrive later. Some never arrive. Obedience remains possible because the One holding the key is trustworthy even when the lock is unexplained.
