Micah 7 describes communal corruption and fractured trust before the prophet says, ‘But as for me, I will look to the LORD.’ His hope does not deny the collapse surrounding him.
Looking to God is not passive waiting for conditions to improve. Biblical hope can pray, seek treatment, report danger, organize for justice, repair relationships, and accept help while refusing to let corruption define ultimate reality.
The verse promises that God hears; it does not give a timetable for visible change. Durable faith can remain watchful when answers are delayed and can borrow strength from community when personal capacity is low.
