You Are Not Too Far Gone to Be Reworked
A spoiled vessel does not get thrown away in the Potter's house. It gets reworked. The clay that failed one shape is still on the wheel.

FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURE · ESV
“And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter's hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do.”Jeremiah 18:4 (ESV)
WISDOM WHISPERS™
“A spoiled vessel does not get thrown away in the Potter's house. It gets reworked. The clay that failed one shape is still on the wheel.”— Bishop W. F. Houston Jr.
Word Studyto form, to fashion, to shape — the same verb used of God forming Adam from the dust in Genesis 2. The Potter who yatsar'd humanity from dust is the same One who reworks the spoiled clay. The hands that made you are the hands that remake you.
THE DEVOTION
God sends Jeremiah down to a potter's house to watch a working man at his wheel — and to learn theology from the mud. 🏺 And there it happens: the vessel spoils in the potter's hand. It collapses, it warps, it fails to become what it was meant to be. And watch closely what the potter does not do. He does not throw the clay across the room. He does not discard it as garbage.
He reworks it. 🔄 The same clay, the same hands, the same wheel — reformed into another vessel, 'as it seemed good to the potter to do.' The failure of the first shape did not end the clay's story. It just started the next revolution of the wheel. The Hebrew yatsar is the very word used when God formed Adam from dust; the Potter who made you is the One reworking you.
Here is what the enemy wants you to believe: that you are the vessel too spoiled to save, that your collapse disqualified you permanently, that God ran out of patience the last time you warped on the wheel. 🔥 That is a lie the potter's house exposes. In God's hands, spoiled does not mean discarded. Spoiled means reworked.
The Sugar-Free Gospel™ says it without sentiment and without despair: you are not too far gone to be reformed, but you do have to stay on the wheel. 🙏🏿 The clay that jumps off the wheel stays broken. The clay that submits to the pressure of the Potter's hands becomes something new. Stay soft. Stay on the wheel. He is not finished with you.
🙏🏿 LET US GO INTO THE THRONE ROOM OF GRACE AND MERCY.™
