God Buried a Seed Where You Buried a Dream
Not everything that fell in your life was lost. Some of it was sown. Stop mourning at a grave God intends as a garden.

FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURE · ESV
“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.”John 12:24 (ESV)
WISDOM WHISPERS™
“Not everything that fell in your life was lost. Some of it was sown. Stop mourning at a grave God intends as a garden.”— Bishop W. F. Houston Jr.
Word StudyA single grain, a solitary kernel of wheat — the smallest, least impressive seed. Jesus chooses the least suspecting seed as His image of resurrection life. What looks buried is sometimes simply planted.
THE DEVOTION
Jesus takes the most counterintuitive law in all of nature and makes it the law of the Kingdom: to live, the seed must die. 🌾 Not die as an end — die as a method. The kokkos, that unimpressive single grain, cannot become a harvest while it stays intact. Its wholeness is its prison. Only in breaking does it multiply.
This is why the death of a dream is so often the birth of a purpose. You planted your ambition in the ground and wept over it as a burial. But the ground is not always a grave. 🌱 Sometimes the very thing that fell and cracked open was a seed — and God was not ending your dream, He was multiplying it in a form your eyes could not yet see.
The hardest part is the silence between the falling and the fruit. The seed underground looks dead. There is no evidence of life — only dirt, darkness, and the ache of loss. But the Sugar-Free Gospel™ insists, without sentimentality: what looks buried is sometimes just planted. The difference is measured in seasons, not in feelings.
So do not mourn at every grave. 🙏🏿 Some of what fell in your life was not lost — it was sown. The seed does not stay a seed, but only if it is willing to break. Let it break. The harvest is hidden in the very thing you buried.
🙏🏿 LET US GO INTO THE THRONE ROOM OF GRACE AND MERCY.™
