The Fire Did Not Come to Kill You

THE DEVOTION

They were thrown into the furnace bound. 🔥 Hands and feet tied, cast into a fire heated seven times its normal strength — so hot it killed the soldiers who threw them in. By every natural law, this was an execution. But when the king looks in, he does not count three burning bodies. He counts four men, walking, shera — loosed.

Consider what the fire actually did. It did not consume them. It consumed only their ropes. ⛓️ The very thing meant to destroy them became the thing that freed them. The bonds that men tied, the fire untied. What was sent as their execution became the place of their liberation — and the place where a fourth figure walked with them.

Here is the Sugar-Free Gospel™ truth many prosperity pulpits will not preach: God did not keep them out of the fire. He met them in it. Sometimes the deliverance you are praying for is not deliverance FROM the furnace, but a Presence WITHIN it. The fourth man does not always show up at the door. Often He shows up in the flames.

So stop begging only to be spared. 🙏🏿 Some ropes only burn off in the furnace. God may not keep you out of the fire — He may walk into it with you. And when you finally come out, the only thing missing will be what had you bound.
